2009 / 10 Season
The Isle of Wight County Table Tennis Association (IWCTTA) is the organising force on the Island, and has a structure to enable it to run the league, organise tournaments, provide information in the form of a newsletter and this web site, and run social events throughout the year.
Players for the 2009/10 season have been allocated places in the three divisions of the league by the management committee. Each division will consist of 8 teams, and so each team will play every other team three times. The league season commences in the first week of October 2009.
To find out the results of the matches played, click a specific division on the navigation bar to the left. This opens a window, from which match results and league tables can be viewed. The web site administrator plans to updated the results weekly, and so the league tables should be fairly accurate for most of the time.
Some of our younger players are travelling far and wide to enter competitions or play in other leagues, and gain useful experience into the bargain. The young players link takes you to a page detailing these players and their achievements.
