Isle of Wight AR Quinton Cards [Issue 1 January 2005]
Alfred Robert Quinton (ARQ) visited the Island to paint more than 70 pictures which were made into postcards by Salmon of Sevenoaks. In total, his work can be found on 78 cards, which are listed here.
Isle of Wight LL Cards [Draft 1 February 2003]
The popular French firm of Lyon & Levy (LL) produced many views of the Island, in black and white, sepia and colour. This checklist has been produced by the LL Collectors Circle, and amendments or additions are always welcome.
Shoesmith & Etheridge [Issue 7 May 2001]
You might not recognise the name, but S&E were postcard publishers from 1909 to about 1960 and based in Hastings. Their "Norman" logo (on the majority of their cards) included a Norman helmet. A prolific output of topographical cards during those years, covering Kent, Sussex, Hampshire and Dorset (but not the Isle of Wight), when an estimated 25,000 different cards were issued.
